why does it feel so good when people like food that was my idea lmao
like whether i cooked it, or i just suggested a restaurant for us to go to, or i picked some up from a takeaway place while i was getting something for myself, or like my brothers hungry at 11pm and im like here have this tub of pringles
just like. whenever im like “here eat this” and the person is gently content and enjoys it. that feels really fucking good
the two replies to this that say “grandma instinct” and “support caster” have directly inspired my next d&d character
For those who aren’t aware yet, here’s a quick breakdown of what the Co Op + loot system for Borderlands 3 is looking like.
BL3 will have a loot system where each player sees their own unique drop of gear.
This means the loot goblin (and yes goblin, not ninja because you’re a goblin!) in your party won’t be able to steal that shiny orange Legendary before you get halfway through your “Heyooooo!”
If this doesn’t appeal to you and your party, there will be a toggle option to switch to the BL1+BL2+TPS style loot drop.
According to a statement made on the BL3 site, it seems as though there will be some degree of a “level normalization” implemented in the game.
This means that your Level 6 Zane should be able to join your buddies Level 30 Moze game where you will both deal significant damage to the enemies, as well as receiving “your own discrete loot stream”.
#1 rule of freelancing is that you have to be dead fuckin serious about getting paid. do not assume everything is going fine and they will pay you eventually. follow up as many times as you have to until the money is in your bank account. if you catch yourself thinking, “oh, i don’t want to bother them…” kill that thought and b o t h e r them. send uber-polite, grandma-is-watching e-mails along the lines of, “Hi! Hope this note finds you well. Just wanted to check in re: the status of my payment. Do you know when the funds will be available?” every few days until you get your money.
My professor gave us some great advice by saying to never ever give updates or the final product as the high rez file until you’ve received the full payment. Always send as a low rez jpeg until that point so they can’t just take it and run.
